XRP at BitStarz: A 5 XRP Minimum and No Visible Word on the Tag

BitStarz’s payments page names Ripple among the currencies it accepts and shows XRP in its deposit table with a fee of 0%, processing “instantly” and a minimum of 5 XRP. Those three figures are what a player sees.

Underneath the visible text the same page carries more. Its embedded data names the network as Ripple and counts three confirmations, and the QR settings for XRP contain a field called dt. The tag is not mentioned anywhere in words.

What the table says

The row reads: type Ripple, fee 0%, processing instantly, limit per transaction minimum 5 XRP. Two things deserve care. “Instantly” and a count of three confirmations sit on the same page and do not obviously agree, so we report both and do not choose. And the minimum is the operator’s to change, so the cashier screen on the day you send is the figure that counts.

The data behind the page

The structured data embedded in the page gives, for XRP: network Ripple, three confirmations, Bithomp as the explorer, and a QR field named dt. We read dt as the destination tag, because that is what the abbreviation means in the ledger’s own vocabulary, but the page does not say so, and nothing visible tells a player a tag is needed. That is our reading of a field name, not an operator statement, and it should not be quoted as one.

What it does suggest is practical: if you scan a QR code from this cashier with a phone wallet, check the tag field after the scan. The phone page explains why.

If the tag was left out, wherever you sent it

The steps do not change with the operator. Confirm in an explorer that the payment validated, compare the receiving address with the one BitStarz’s cashier showed you, and write once, with the hash, to the support channel in your account. The home page has the full order and a draft message, and the list of mistakes to avoid applies here without exception.

What this page leaves out

No welcome offer, rollover or licence is quoted. The page’s withdrawal limits are in euros and apply to all methods, so they are not an XRP figure and are not repeated here.
