XRP at Roobet: The Tag Is Mandatory and the Operator Says So
Roobet has the strictest wording we found anywhere. A help-centre article titled “What is an XRP Destination Tag?”, dated March 2024, calls the tag “a mandatory field used by Roobet and other platforms to identify who should be receiving XRP sent to their address”.
It then says what happens without it. That sentence is quoted below in full, and so is the caution that follows it, because this is the one operator where the policy is stated and not left for you to infer.
What Roobet says about a missing tag
We require a destination tag on all deposits, and if you are missing the tag when you place your depo your funds will unfortunately be lost.
help.roobet.com (the typo is in the original)
The same article adds that Roobet highly recommends you double check whether your wallet provider requires a tag or memo before withdrawing XRP, and that if the provider requires one, you must include it in your transaction or your funds may be lost. So the warning runs in both directions: into Roobet and out of it.
Read the first sentence as policy. It tells you how Roobet intends to treat a deposit without a tag. It does not tell you what its support will do after the fact, and no operator has promised either outcome in writing. The only responsible conclusion is the one on the home page: ask, in writing, with the hash.
Which coins, which timing
Roobet’s deposit article, dated August 2026, lists XRP among the coins it accepts and closes the list: it says Roobet only accepts a named set of coins “at this time”, and that sending any other cryptocurrency or token will result in it being lost and the account not being credited. The article gives one confirmation for BTC and XRP, and three for ETH, LTC, USDT and USDC. Those are confirmation counts for deposits; they say nothing about withdrawals.
It also says confirmations are handled automatically by the blockchain, that Roobet cannot estimate how long they take, and that nothing can be done to speed them up. For XRP it points to XRPScan as the explorer for tracking a deposit by its transaction hash, which is the tool the first step on the home page needs.
What Roobet does not publish
No network name for XRP and no minimum XRP deposit appear in the articles we read. Do not assume either from the other. Check the cashier screen before sending.
If the tag was left out, wherever you sent it
The steps do not change with the operator. Confirm in an explorer that the payment validated, compare the receiving address with the one Roobet’s cashier showed you, and write once, with the hash, to the support channel in your account. The home page has the full order and a draft message, and the list of mistakes to avoid applies here without exception.
