XRP at Stake: The Ripple Network Is Named, the Tag Is Not Mentioned
Stake’s help centre lists XRP among the coins it accepts and names the network in a table: “Ripple (XRP): Ripple network”. The article is dated August 2026. That is everything it says about XRP.
Neither that article nor Stake’s deposit-limits article mentions a destination tag, so this page is about what Stake does say, which is more about networks than tags, and about what to do if your transfer went out without a tag regardless.
Which network does Stake name for XRP?
One: Ripple. The article opens with a general rule:
It’s important that you send coins through their corresponding blockchain networks. Make sure you only use the coins that Stake supports.
help.stake.com, article on acceptable blockchain networks
It then lists a separate block of networks Stake does not support: Cronos, Arbitrum, Optimism, tokens on ERC20, tokens on BEP20 and Base. None of them involves XRP, which has its own ledger, so the list is a reminder that a coin sent over the wrong rails is a different kind of mistake from a missing tag.
What Stake says about the tag
Nothing, on the two pages we read. That silence is not a statement that a tag is unnecessary. An operator can leave a topic out of one help article and cover it on the deposit screen, and the deposit screen is the authority for whatever you are about to send. Use the address and tag it shows you.
Minimum deposit at Stake
Stake publishes no per-coin minimum for XRP. Its deposit-limits article, also dated August 2026, says Stake cannot automatically process crypto deposits under $0.01, and that if you send such a small value you should contact support for assistance. It adds that there are no maximum limits. This is the one place where Stake itself points to support, and it is about very small amounts, not about tags.
If the tag was left out, wherever you sent it
The steps do not change with the operator. Confirm in an explorer that the payment validated, compare the receiving address with the one Stake’s cashier showed you, and write once, with the hash, to the support channel in your account. The home page has the full order and a draft message, and the list of mistakes to avoid applies here without exception.
What this page leaves out
No offer, rollover or licence is quoted, no timing figure is given for XRP because Stake publishes none on these pages, and the other eleven cashiers are on the cashier page.
